Reminders
This screen is similar to the transactions screen, but it shows only reminders for
transactions with the same data, optionally with recurrency info. New reminders
can be created with the button Expense or Income, or they can be copied
from a transaction list with a context menu option.
There are two options for posting the reminders:
- with a menu option all due reminders can be posted automatically as long as they have
the necessary data (account, class, category, payee,...)
- with a context menu option a transaction is created from the reminder and the
transaction edit screen is opened where missing data can be entered
A reminder can be marked as For Planning Only, so that no transaction is created
from it while posting, but the next occurrence will be calculated.
With the button Forecast the recurrent reminders can be simulated for one year ahead.
For each day the title bar shows the current balance. On top of the screen up two five peak
balances are shown. These are the balances just before expenses change to income or vice versa.
